baltasis fosforas statusas T sritis apsauga nuo naikinimo priemonių apibrėžtis Kietoji vaško pavidalo nuodingoji medžiaga. Gerai tirpsta skystuose organiniuose tirpikliuose. Laikomas vandenyje. Ore savaime užsidega ir dega išskirdamas baltus nuodingus dūmus. Degimo temperatūra siekia 1000 °C. Plastifikuotas baltasis fosforas turi sintetinio kaučiuko. Jis patvarus, naudojant skyla į stambius, lėtai degančius gabalus, gerai limpa prie vertikalių paviršių ir gali juos pradeginti. Degantis fosforas, patekęs ant odos, sukelia sunkius, ilgai negyjančius nudegimus. Naudojamas padegamiesiems ir dūminiams artilerijos sviediniams, minoms, aviacinė bomboms, rankinėms granatoms užtaisyti, taip pat kaip napalmo ir pirogelio degtuvas. atitikmenys: angl. white phosphorus rus. белый фосфор
